1. Send your request
Open an account-deletion email draft addressed to info@2shocks.com, with the subject “2Shocks account deletion request”. Include your sign-in email, preferably sending from that address. If you cannot access it, explain that so we can arrange proportionate verification.
Review the draft and send it yourself. Opening the link does not submit a request or delete anything. If an email app does not open, write directly to info@2shocks.com. Do not send your password, sign-in code, payment details or unnecessary identity documents.
2. What is currently available
In the current app, Profile → Privacy provides an account-deletion request flow. Follow the identity-verification and confirmation steps shown in the app, then check the request status. You can also use the email pathway above without opening the app. Submitting a request is not confirmation that all erasure is complete; records requiring individual review are handled separately.
3. Verification, timing and confirmation
We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and locate your records. Ask us to confirm receipt, expected timing, any information that must be retained and why, and the outcome. Requests are handled without undue delay, normally within one calendar month, with any applicable extension or refusal explained. This is not a promise of immediate erasure from all systems or backups.
Ordinary rider-account deletion can be processed automatically. Requests involving subscriptions, billing or shared garage records may require manual review and provider coordination. These cases do not have a guaranteed immediate completion time. If you have not received a response or need help, contact Support. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
4. Information covered by the request
A request can cover your Clerk authentication identity and 2Shocks account, saved motorcycles and rider-entered VIN/mileage, private plans and history including records retained after bike removal, lookup information, reminders, notifications/device registrations, garage favourites and activity, recipient email addresses, privacy preferences and experience events.
Shared garage records, any billing records, security information, legal claims and necessary request/audit records may need individual assessment. We must explain applicable retention rather than promise every record will be removed. The final category-specific retention schedule and provider recovery details remain pending confirmation. Provider backups and copies you previously saved, emailed or shared are separate; contacting 2Shocks does not automatically erase a garage’s or email provider’s copy. See Rider App Privacy.
5. Bike removal, export and subscriptions
Removing a motorcycle detaches it from your garage and cancels its active/paused reminders; it does not delete your account or all private history. Another rider does not inherit your entries by entering the same registration or VIN. Signing out or uninstalling the app also does not erase server-held records.
Use Profile → Privacy → Export my data if you want a copy first. Export does not submit a deletion request. If you have a store subscription, deleting the app or requesting account deletion does not cancel renewal: manage it separately in Apple or Google settings. See subscription information.
