1. Who we are
2 SHOCKS LTD is responsible for the personal information described here. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 17067783, with registered office at 2 Spring Corner, High Street, TW13 4PA, Feltham, United Kingdom. For privacy questions, contact info@2shocks.com or write to our registered office.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers our presentation website and related email enquiries. The website introduces an app that is being prepared for launch. It does not provide rider accounts, registration lookups, motorcycle record storage, bookings or purchases. We will provide separate privacy information for the rider app before it becomes available.
3. Information we use
- Website requests: our hosting provider may process your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser or device information, and security or error information to deliver and protect the website.
- Email enquiries: your email address, name if supplied, message, attachments and subsequent correspondence. These come from you and the email systems delivering your message.
Contact links open your email app. Clicking a link does not send a message or sign you up. Please only include information needed for your enquiry; do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information about yourself or others.
4. Why we use it
We rely on our legitimate interests in providing a functioning, secure website, preventing misuse, answering enquiries and keeping a relevant record of our correspondence. We consider your interests and rights when using information for these purposes. We may also process information to comply with legal obligations, including responding to data-protection requests. If you do not provide a return address and enough information about your enquiry, we may be unable to respond.
We do not sell personal information, operate a newsletter or launch-notification list, or use your enquiry to enrol you in promotional emails. This website does not carry out profiling or automated decisions about you.
5. Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising trackers or behavioural analytics, and the website code does not set cookies or browser storage for marketing or analytics. Our hosting provider may use technical measures necessary to deliver the site and prevent abuse. If we add optional tracking in future, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.
6. Who handles information
Vercel provides website hosting. GoDaddy provides our business email through Microsoft 365/Outlook; GoDaddy and Microsoft handle email delivery and storage. Authorised members of our team can access enquiries to respond to them. We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers or authorities when necessary for a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Our app infrastructure is separate: visiting this website does not create an account with our app authentication, database or subscription providers. External websites linked from this site have their own privacy notices.
7. Processing locations
Our team works from the UK and Romania. Our hosting and email providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States. Their contractual data-protection arrangements describe the safeguards applicable to their services, including UK transfer provisions where relevant. You can contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your enquiry.
Provider information is available in Vercel’s Data Processing Addendum, GoDaddy’s Privacy Notice and Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
8. How long information is kept
We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to answer your enquiry and handle relevant follow-up. When deciding whether continued retention is necessary, we consider whether the issue remains open, whether the correspondence records an ongoing business relationship, and whether it is needed for a legal obligation or dispute. We delete information when these purposes no longer require it.
Hosting logs, email recovery copies and backups follow the applicable provider’s retention and recovery arrangements. Deleting a working copy may not immediately remove a provider backup. Contact us if you want information about retention of a particular enquiry.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies where its legal conditions are met. If processing relies on consent in future, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email info@2shocks.com to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a lawful extension applies, we will explain it. Requests are normally free of charge.
You can complain to us at the same address. You also have the right to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office, without first complaining to us.
10. Younger visitors and changes
The product is intended for UK riders aged 16 and over. This website does not offer accounts or request age verification. If a younger visitor contacts us, we use their information only as needed to handle the enquiry appropriately.
We will update this policy if our website or information practices change. The revision date above identifies this version.
